Parrots are available in wide range of colors and varieties. There are two broad families of parrots. One is the psittacidae, and the cacutaidae. The latter has a movable head crest while the psittacidae have brighter, more vibrant colors. Some of the parrot breeds are Conures, Parakeets, Cockatoos, Caiques, etc. Since parrots need more space to play and fly, make sure whether you can give them the enough space. Parrots like to eat fruits and some parrots like Golden-winged Parakeets like to eat water snails also. Malnutrition may cause to sickness or even death of your parrot, so feed your parrot with more nutritious and variety of foods. People are very much fascinated in talking parrots. If you want to make your parrot talk, teach words to them when they are between four months to one year old, since at that time only they can easily recognize and talk the words we teach.
